Nilsson Ambulance

A car-type ambulance build upon a Volvo V70 AWD with a diesel-engine, soot filter and Haldex world-class all-wheel-drive system.

Safety

The Nilsson Ambulance is built with the same sense of safety in the patient compartment as Volvo has for the standard car. All equipment is easily accessible for the nurses even when they are wearing seatbelts in the caretakers chair.

“Our ambulance should be as safe as the backseat of a standard Volvo” – this remains our guiding principle.

All-wheel-drive (AWD)

AWD is to be considered as twice as good as a normal two-wheel drive vehicle.
It is a unique combination of very good comfort for driver, passengers and patient, and with the possibility to drive under all sorts of weather conditions. This has been confirmed by many of our customers.
