Nilsson Special Vehicles AB ("Nilsson") hereby announces that the company, as a result of several new model launches, is slightly behind schedule in the number of delivered cars versus the company's target for 2017. The Board therefore notes that the company will not achieve expected results in the financial year 2017.

In the last nine months, Nilsson has successfully launched four new car models. The number of manufacturing hours for a new car model is always higher in an initial period. Nilsson's manufacturing hours have decreased significantly for the new car models, but due to run-in problems, they take longer to calculate. The company is expected to have a weaker result due to the lower turnover.

CEO Karl Justh comments

"Inthe last nine months, we have launched four new car models;Nilsson XC90 Ambulance, Nilsson V90 Hearse , Nilsson S90 UK Traditional Hearse and Nilsson S90 Limousine. It is extremely exciting to launch new car models and we have received a very good reception on the market. We have had greater challenges than expected in the run-in phase, especially with our new processes as well as subcontractors. We can therefore state that we will not achieve our target for the year. Production times have fallen rapidly since the first produced car and we are now continuously working to reduce production times further and thereby increase our capacity. However, we expect that our delivery capacity during the run-in process will continue to be somewhat limited."
